Lemeir Mitchell, originally from Philadelphia, started Happy Ice as a food truck serving the most flavorful, colorful Italian water ice you can imagine. He later expanded into College Boy Cheesesteaks. Life wasn’t easy. Coming from humble beginnings with 13 siblings, Lemeir carried deep pain — his brother Kevin tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident in 2015. That loss became fuel.
